Full Itinerary

Beaches:Lanikai Beach: white sand, perfect view of the Mokes and great snorkeling.

Kailua Beach: great for watching kite surfers and close to Kalapawai Market.

Hanauma Bay: some of the best snorkeling on the island with plenty of tropical fish.

Waimea Bay: spectacular beach on the North Shore with big waves and surfers.Hikes:

Diamond Head Crater Hike: an easy popular trail so go early in the morning.

Koko Head Stairs: steep hike up an abandoned railroad track so it’s quite a workout.

Makapu’u Tom Tom Trail: beautiful views but can be windy – great hike but it’s private land so illegal.

Lanikai Pill Box: perfect sunrise hike – be sure to climb to the top of the second military pillbox.

WiliWilinui Ridge Trail: challenging steps at the end but magnificent views on a clear day.

Merriman’s: Ward Plaza, Honolulu. Farm to table. Great appetizers, steaks and burgers.

Mud Hen Water: Kaimuki, Honolulu. Modern twist on local Hawaiian. All fresh and local food.

Duke’s: Honolulu. Iconic. Beachfront and popular with tourists. Great salad bar.

HideOut: Waikiki, The LayLow Hotel. Rooftop bar and restaurant. A hidden oasis.

Mahina & Sons: Wailkiki, Surfjack Hotel. Hip casual restaurant offering locally sourced food.

Bills Hawaii: Waikiki. Good for lunch.

Banan: Food Truck. Dairy Free Banana Soft Serve.

Ai Love Nalo: Waimanalo. Great vegan lunch spot. Medi and budda bowl the best!

Leahi Health: Kahala/Kailua. Great lunch spot.

Over Easy: Kailua. Great for breakfast and brunch.

Buzz’s Original Steakhouse: Kailua. A popular surf n’ turf. Powerful Mai Tai cocktail!

The Beet Box Cafe: Haleiwa. Chill vibe, fast service and great food – plant based.

Farm to Barn: Haleiwa. Great eats and friendly service – plant based.Cocktails:

Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian – beachfront bar with the best Mai Tai on the island.

House Without a Key at the Halekulani – perfect for a sunset cocktail.
